MattBinco -The 80s Bossa

For those raised in the 80’s era, the name of Matt Bianco is known as an icon for bossas. Duo Mark Reilly and Mark Fisher from Matt Bianco have once again hypnotized the audience at the plenary hall, twice! with their very upbeat ambience wrapped in a latin-flavour and bossa, and most important is: It’s fantastic!

Following his cancellation to perform on Javajazz 2008, the Matt Bianco shows are worth to see performance. On stage for 2 days in a row (6-7 March), the group appearance is a remedy for my craving for a great latin music legend, whom I adored since in junior high. To my surprise, the fans are not many as I imagine. Or perhaps, those coming to see this group’s performance are youngsters from late nineties. Only few singing and dancing with the pulse, mesmerized by energetic beat from Mark Fisher and cheerful lyrics from Mark Reilly, especially when he sing Sunshine Day

Definitely will hunt for their new album “HiFi Bossanova” this upcoming month!
